Live-Minute-Meme-Generator (abbreviated as LMMG) is a fan-made parody event and spin-off based on Real-Time Fandub. It was lead by Tumblr user teenage-ass-pants, as a birthday present to Penny Parker.[1]
Synopsis[]
My friends and I silence episodes of Gravity Falls and say the lines over them, but none of us can usually remember our lines, so we mess up, and it's funny! we call it a "Live-Minute-Meme-Generator" and our official tag is "RadGal492."[2]
The stream[]
The parody stream aired on August 20, 2016 (Penny Parker's birthday) at 15:00 Eastern Standard Time and it featured a total of 5 dubbers: Haan (teenage-ass-pants), Abe, Audrey, Anna, and another friend who wished to remain anonymous.[3] At first the plan was to invite Charley Marlowe to the dub, however he had accidentally double-booked and wasn't able to make it on account of work. Six episodes of Gravity Falls were dubbed on the livestream: "The Inconveniencing", "Time Traveler's Pig", "Dreamscaperers", "Northwest Mansion Mystery", "The Last Mabelcorn" and "Weirdmageddon Part 1". During the stream, Arbër Lezi appeared in the chat under the Real-Time Fandub Picarto account, exciting the cast at a cast member joining in. The cast ended the stream by singing "Happy Birthday" to Penny Parker.
Trivia[]
- All episodes dubbed during this event were eventually dubbed on the main show, with the exception of Time Traveler's Pig and Dreamscaperers.
- The theme song spoof used in Live-Minute-Meme-Generator, a Real-Time Fandub fan-made spin-off, was objective in not including any of the words in the Real-Time Fandub themes, hence the line: "Leave now and return with snacks". Its crew would change their minds if they were to dub Steven Universe, they would use "We have grub" in their opening theme.[4]
